For some reason I decide to spend more time on the Internet though, I don't know what I'm doing.

At least this website's users aren't like the people on this website.

It doesn't take much for the comment threads to go overboard with backstabbing banter.

Youtube barely has any moderation so it doesn't matter.

i dunno. i'd say i get hate from youtube commenters but that's mostly just when i pop in and respond to something related to a religious topic (a good sized number of religious people can't stand atheists it seems. >.> or opinions about religion that differ from they're own in general.).

i used to sometimes see trolls attack me for having a pony as my avatar pic (note: gravatar ;)) on youtube (ranging from those who are just irrational hate spewing fools to the typical profanity spewing idiots to...well, i did once get hit by someone claiming to be a part of the "Anti-Brony Brotherhood" but i quickly silenced that guy (thanks to him i found out how to completely mute someone on youtube after the G+ integration and it's super easy to do.).

i think the last time a troll went after me it was pretty much a hit & run troll and that was after months of silence from youtube trolls.

there is one person here who dislikes me (and countless other users) but we all know who he is. he's a minor annoyance that's sometimes entertaining to poke fun at. ;)

aside from the above i don't really get that much trouble/hate overall.

and to think, being nice/friendly/etc. gets me by without trouble almost everywhere and i pretty much never bother reading through the rules on various websites/forum. "be nice & don't stir up trouble for others" is pretty much my rule on the internet and thus far it's worked out quite nicely aside from the abov. :P

It's not bad that you are detached from some sites and express yourself in a more hostile manner. But in a way, it's nice to feel different emotions. Lets you learn and grow.

I have to bite my tongue here. I'm also getting mean on Facebook because their shitty administration likes to ban everything.
