i was wondering if someone might be able to make me 2 animated gif for use as a avatar (not here, i think i'll keep the one i've been using here as is).

nothing fancy, i was just wanting a pic of Metal Sonic Kai as seen here floating up and down as he normally would during the games ending (bad ending iirc). the game being Knuckles Chaotix for the 32x.

2 sizes, 1 the thumbnail size as seen here in the e6 forums and one smaller like this one i use on the emuparadise forums.

i like the still image (2nd pic linked) but i'd like an animated version too.

Making gifs, even tiny ones, is a laborious amount of work.

I love the misconception that people have that because a gif is just a small image, it must be as easy to make as any tiny jpg. LMAO.

start up game via emulator > enter cheat code for lvl select > skip to ending scene > take necessary amount of screenshots for animation > cut/paste specific section of each pic > use results as frames for gif animation in a gif making program > finished gif

i think it's funny how you think it's so hard to do. i'd do it myself but...lazy. only thing is the old program i tinker with for this kind of stuff sometimes adds a watermark as it's the free version.

You have the thing on an emulator? Grab Gifcam, download, unpack, start emu, go to ending, start recording, select frames needed, save.

Also, Ozelot likely meant drawing a gif by hand, which is tedious since each frame is its own picture, but all single frames need to fit each other.

you say you are lazy? well I guess that's a nice excuse, but if you're so lazy as to not do it on your own, what makes you think anyone else will take their own time to bother?

in something unrelated to this, if setting a gif as a profile picture would be animated that would be great.
