So I just posted some comics for the Critical Success, thinking I was doing something right, couldn't find in the rules I couldn't. I'm probably going to get hate for this, but am I going to get banned now? Or just a warning?

Almost certainly just a warning.
For future reference, if you accidentally upload DNP stuff and flag it yourself you don't even get in trouble at all.

Well, it's both right and wrong. Right because sharing and all that; wrong because the pages haven't yet posted to the public.
At most, you'll get a warning. If not, a three day temporary ban. On the bright side, those pages will be restored once they are released to the public
I haven't read them, btw

Thing is, I found them posted elsewhere so I thought they were public.

When things like this happen all you can do is to plead your case and explain why. Seeing as this is your first upload and your first offense I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just make sure you learn from your mistake and don't be a repeat offender, no-one likes those.
Ideally you should always ask for permission from everyone involved, including artists, commissioners and character owners. That way there is a lot smaller risk to amass deletions.

I'm not an admin so I shouldn't speak for them, but since you immediately recognized your mistake and came forward with it, you miiight just get let off the hook. Even if you don't, they rarely pass out negative records for first offenses, so don't worry about it.
Don't do it again, though, obviously.

Well, you might want to use the occasion to read up on both The Rules and The Avoid Posting List.

Nothing happened yet. Still waiting, if anything.

The administration already noticed this thread. Check out NotMeNotYou's comment.
Looks like you got off with a warning.

Your posting limit dropped from 10 to 9. You are fine.

I know that can be really tricky, what with places like U18Chan always very quickly putting up rips of paid (or otherwise non-public) content without clearly stating it is. Things gets even trickier when it's a comic that is getting released publically but at a slower pace compared to the paywall version, exactly what happened here.
The only thing you can really do to prevent this is ALWAYS checking the involved artist(s') public galleries. Their FA, their Tumblr, Inkbunny, SoFurry, whatevs. Only when a page is actually there can you assume it's safe to post.
You know, at least if the artist itself is.

Seconding this. Linking to a proper source (submission page in artist gallery) is very important. Even if an artist is not on the Avoid Posting list, some of their content might be paid exclusives; hi-res art, uncensored versions, early releases, etc.
Third-party sources should generally be avoided whenever you can. Not only to properly credit artists and help avoid possible DNP infractions against non-DNP artists, but also because they sometimes butcher image quality by resizing and/or compressing them to save on bandwidth.

Eh. Could've been worse.
Ah, that must've put a dent into your upload limit.

that is nothing compared to that one guy who got their upload limit to -308 because of one single takedown.

That is nothing compared to the price of tea in China.
...Yeah, I have nothing witty to say...

If you don't have anything worthwhile to add to the topic then please don't post anything.

I was just expecting an email I get on here stating what rule I broke or whatevers. Won't happen again.
