Actually, when i joined e621, i was suspicious, but i have stopped being like that after uploading new posts, another post, and more, then terrible posts, then more good posts. While i got negative record on my profile i never got positive record, right now i'm uploading 11 posts which is right now requires approval by admins.

Yes, i do post threads alot, but not in e621.

Come the fuck on, You can't get positive records on e621. You have to compete for surviving the longest time before getting your permaban.

Exactly. Green bars (positive records) are rarely given, so don't expect receiving one few minutes after you do something. Unless you do something worth noticing, but then again, admins have to agree on why it should be awarded.

This isn't the place where greens were given out of the blue anymore (no pun intended). So just have some patience, go play some games, make food or rest a bit. Your upload limit will increase in due time, 10 approved posts at a time.

I agree but i have posted 11 approvable posts, expect for 1 that i noticed is duplicated which made me feel guilty.

Kidding. Basically, in few words, getting three negatives, according to the offence it can be more or in the case of ban evading only one, can get you blocked temporarily for minimum three days.

Uploading DNP or reuploading deleted posts can get you a negative too, besides fighting with other users and/or admins over the comments, blips, forum posts or dmails (pm).

When I finally made an account on e621 (read my user info to learn a bit more about me), my sole thought was to contribute and hang around people that I've actively seen on this website, such as The Diggler. I aimed to be a positive influence by posting relevant works here, tagging, leaving behind generally positive or humorous comments, etc.

Look at me now. Look how far I've come in just nine months.

heh, 4 years and all i've gotten was a neutral but that was swiftly removed after NMNY pointed out a useful program for eliminating dupes (i think it was called visipics. i don't have much need for it overall so i only use it for big amounts of pics like the slow yet still ongoing uploads of M. Sherman's stuff).

long as i don't get a neg (or dare i say, banned :/) for anything i'm satisfied with simply adding pics and helping with tagging and other stuff. :)

I've been here for 6 years and have zero records. Then again I rarely do stuff.
A record is just data, it doesn't mean that much.

Often positive records are not given if someone is not reported for outstanding qualities, such as very high tag count, translations submitted, and/or general helpfulness with other users. It is not an easy record to obtain and they are given out rarely.

I would not concern yourself with the color of a number on your profile. Most people don't have any positive records. It doesn't mean they are bad users.

it's also kinda hit or miss. I mean look at my record, then at my tag count. Most of those are single tag edits though.
It takes a lot to get a green and little to get a red.
I can agree it's a little annoying to watch other users get patted on the back while your doing your best to be good, not bite other users (even the dum dum) and help... but.. Well I got into the tagging bit to help the site, not win awards.

I've found two ways to get a positive record. The first is to spend about two years being generally helpful and have an admin notice that. The second is to find a way to read the admin's secret forums (or some other relatively large bug) and tell them about it instead of abusing it.

Yes, there's at least one category on this forum that's only visible to modmins (at least, it is now :D). Pretty much every forum in existence has a mod subforum. It's a good way to coordinate.

Hey hey... null was a pretty cool admin, one of the few that stood with me when I was going through some nasty emotional shit, couldn't control my bossy side and somehow managed to piss off an admin with power issues. Him and rainbow were life savers...
For someone who has pretty much 24 hours of laying in bed due to both disability and chronic migraines that can't be cured I needed e621 to focus on something other than what was messing me up so bad...if those two hadn't had the patience to try to keep me in a straight line when everyone else wanted to give me the hammer I would've been to the moon years ago.

As for k9 and nmny both of them are good admin too, just cuz they don't hand out green apples left and right doesn't mean their being bribed, just means they are a lot more busy keeping the site from devolving into utter chaos.

What would you rather have, mods who keep the peace? Or mods who look for people to praise?
Personally I'd rather have mods who keep the peace even if it means I never get noticed, more important to keep the site running smoothly!
