So I'm not an MMA fan at all. But even I've heard of this Ronda chick, super hot, nice muscles, great fighter. my kind of girl. But apparently she was humbled pretty damn good.
I was wondering what you guys think about that

Did you guys know Ronda is a Pokémon fan? Her first Pokémon was a charizard! ^^
Anyways, I'm not an MMA fan either. I hear from some people that Ronda is and I quote, "a cocky stuck up bitch!" But I don't know...I don't much about her, so I can't say much.
I was shocked to hear she lost though, for a moment I thought she'd be like May Weather. Anyways, apparently she'll be in a movie and might (just might) be part of the WWE.

well I just saw her fight and she's damn scary but that holly chick was driven with determination. It's always good to see the underdog win.
I just don't know what fight she won. I think it was the world championship. but I'm not seeing any site that says so. They just say "ronda loses fight!"

I knew about Holly before Ronda and I knew Holly was going to be the victor. Ronda has great submission skills, but when her biggest advantage wasn't working, she was just an average fighter.
Holly is a seasoned fighter. She was a great boxer going 33-2 before she joined MMA. Currently, she's undefeated in MMA (10-0).

From a fighter perspective, Holly was never the underdog

So why did ronda get so much hype from everyone?

She used the Mayweather/Ali tactic. Big mouth but had the undefeated record to back it up

Meh MMA is too much submission boringness anyways.
I'll bother to care when it is as awesome as

Ronda did take judo though, which is pretty interesting to say the least.
Either way, I didn't care who won or loss

Yeah Ronda lost her UFC women's bantamweight champion, but I think it's good Holly won. Holly was abused by her husband, she'll be symbol of strength for abused women out in the world. Just my thoughts.

The seemingly more knowledgeable Youtube commenters suggested that Rousey fought "cans" (i.e., weaker fighters, as intended), presumably to give the fighting network something to market. It was suggested that Rousey would lose once she fought a "real" fighter, but that's easy to say after the fact. Holmes, it seems, was a tougher, more experienced, and more complete fighter than Rousey. Moreover, some people claimed to have bet the farm on Holmes, winning thousands of dollars because Holmes was pegged as a long shot by some. I'm totally ignorant myself, but that all seems plausible.
*inb4 "I stopped reading at 'Youtube commenters'" ;)
