Topic: Gun stuff

Posted under Off Topic

I've noticed that a surprisingly high number of users on this site are into guns, so I was wondering if anyone would like to share which ones they like or own.

Not asking for a political discussion...

I think they're neat but I don't own any and have no plans to change that.

Leverguns and revolvers are pretty cool in my opinion.

I'm more the guy for military weapons. I don't own any but, I think I post what tends to be a good choice.

list

SMGs / PDWs

FN P90
MP7
Thompson M1921
PP-19 Bison

Assault rifles

TAR 21
HK M416
Steyr Aug
HK G36 (If they would fix the heat problem :/ )

Marksmanrifles

AI L115
VSS Vintorez
HK PSG1

And of course nuclear weapons, since those prevented bigger conventional escalations between USSR and USA in the past years. Nothings better then a weapon that doesn't need to be used ;-)

Not a fan of full auto weapons because I'm more of a ammo conserve kind of guy; semi auto, 2,3, or 4 (maybe 5) round bursts, or bolt action will work for me. I've shot 3 weapons last summer; a semi auto, a revolver, and a shotgun (<<<hell of a kick.) If I ever end up owning a gun in the future, I'll probably have either the KSG or the Tac-12.

Also take my money!

My current favorite from the collection is a Ruger .22 revolver with a 9 1/2 in barrel.

It looks like this, I swear ...

I love that I can outshoot most of the semiauto fans at my range with it, and even some people who are using .22LR rifles (with no optic, mind you), out to 20 yds at least.

ak 47 is not boring just look at the stuff drug lords use here in mexico

I do not understand why people like gold-plated guns, especially since they're most often used by modern bandits... anyway AK's are literally the most common gun ever made, get something at least a little more unique!

Just don't need one, and I probably couldn't bring one to college...

Anyway, I'm normally not a fan of Russian stuff, but the AN-94 is really neat, even if it is ridiculously over-engineered and expensive.

I'd like to shoot an STG-44 - and yes I know how rare these are...and how expensive, but being the first modern assault rifle made and so many more based off of it is quite amazing if you ask me.

Well, they're still using them in Syria...

To tide yerself over, you may have to settle for the (very high quality) .22LR replica.

I can see myself with the short magazine model to be honest.

And I don't remember the name of the carbine that I shot, but I do remember it being brown, black, and having a square/rectangular front ironsight.

$1,800.00 of the STG-N vs (The highest I've seen) $40,000.00 of the STG-44...

Unless I win some lottery money I'll pass on the latter.

Given how none of such aircraft exist (or would be of any use if they did exist), A-10 wins by default.

what do you mean wouldnt be useful? This would have been the best, evilest, most efficent way to achieve nuclear annihilation! and who doesnt want nuclear destruction? because i sure do!

That, or "Chain guns."
A lot of game developers seem to think that anything with ammunition belts is a chain gun.
Looking at you, Halo...

Speaking of miniguns, Fallout 3 is pretty much the only game in which the developers accounted for the fact that they're externally powered. I always thought it was funny seeing my character running around with a giant battery mounted on his back.

Mosstly I prefer shotguns. They're good for defending your house. 12 gauge is good. Henry Repeater rifles are good too. Anyone who wants to bitch at me for owning a gun can kiss my ass.
