I am trying to upload a 2.8 MiB png image, and since last night, I have consistently been getting a "413 Request Entity Too Large" error.
Any idea what is going on here?
Thanks in advance. :)

What is the image resolution?
If width or height are over 15000 px then it may fail.

Specifically, it is 3541*5016, which is smaller than some of the larger images I have uploaded before.

I'm getting it on a 2,000 x 2,000 one.

Seems to be a recent phenomenon, then... what could be causing it? Did the e621 server settings change in any way, recently?

Getting it here as well :/
Must be something on the server that has recently changed.

Same here, pic is 2408x2564 (1.4 MB).

So... it looks like people can still upload images... but, is there a size limit error? An error in the server settings? An error in the global settings for users?

Any comments from the admins?

Admins are asleep, we had a couple quick changes for added ddos prevention, and this might have broken something, I'll let our devs know.

More accurately, almost the entire network setup got modified and updated, so this might have broken a lot of somethings :P

Direct-link uploads are still not working(displays "File not found" warning, even though image is visible prior to upload), but it seems that image uploads are working now.

Are you removing the direct URL? The preview remains if you do so, but it doesn't actually upload from URL if you remove it.

Direct URL's doesn't work even though preview is seen, I just downloaded the image straight into my PC and uploaded it.
(Previously, doing so will prompt the Request Entity Too Large error.)

The 413 errors you guys were seeing should be fixed.
Upload by URL has been disabled temporarily in the aftermath of the DDOS attacks over the last few days.

Automatic(direct-link) uploads are still disabled. You will have to manually download the post and then upload it via "Choose File" option.

- What were you trying to upload?
- Was it on e621 or e921?
Trying to upload a higher-quality image (2.75 MB) made by myself on e926. I only uploaded the low quality one at all [615 KB and my current avatar] because the bigger one would bring up the error screen.

In this case I've tried to upload straight from my computer and I still get the error screen.

It looks like it was specific to e926. After letting Dari know, I did some testing and uploads should be good to go now.

One more question, can you actually upload questional/explicit rated art while using e926? Last time I tried it gave me some random error.

I don't have an official date but there's a fix ready for the next update. I'd expect it any day now.
