Topic: sub-Reddit

Posted under General

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason we don't have a sub-reddit? I've been spending a ton of time on reddit recently and noticed we don't have one. Is there a specific reason we don't/shouldn't? If not, then I'd like to go ahead and make us one.

Information / communication fragmentation is bad.

Different people discussing different things in different places about the same thing is bad because there will be differences in outcome or decisions made.

With that said, why should we have one? It isn't like FA, our mods aren't nazis and you can discuss anything regarding e6 on this site already without fear of repercusion as long as it is done civilised.

I'm afraid it might draw the wrong kind of audience...
...And there's really not much to talk about.

You don't really think that there are people worse than us, do you?

I'm on both regularly so your arguments are invalid.

4chan is actually full of furries, they just pretend to be normal people while the staff is awake.

Furry became completely acceptable on 4chan.
There are gfur and sfur threads on /b/ all the time now.
And they don't even get spammed.

/b/ doesn't count and never did. I won't believe furry's acceptable on 4chan until there's a board devoted to it.

Explain /v/ and klonoa porn.

There was a /fur/ for a little while. Needless to say it didn't end well.

Eeee-yeah. But Encyclopedia Dramatica is wrong about fchan. fchan long predates 4chan's April Furst shenanigans. Right about fchan being a terrible place, though.

Eeh, fchan is alright for getting some porn off of, as long as you remember to not read any actual words or overexpose yourself.

There are daily CoC threads on /vg/, and /tg/'s SFW furry dumps have been known to go for upwards of a thousand posts without any trolls.

Also, /v/ after 1AM is nothing but sharkgirls as far as the eye can see.
