Rock Dog looks cool, but Monster Hunt doesn't catch my interest.

Also, Zootopia comes out, too

There's also a new movie about an pet's life from Dreamworks starring *wait for it* Kevin Hart as a small cute bunny. Honestly, he doesn't fit at all.

EDIT: It's Universal Studios

While not strictly a "furry" movie there is also The Jungle Book in 2016, directed by Iron Man director Jon Favreau and filled with lots of CGI that looks quite good.

Also in 2016 is the movie Ratchet and Clank, which seems a bit odd to me. There are so many video games that deserve a movie it just strikes me as a strange series to choose to animate.

And in the category of not strictly furry and also in the category of WTF Video Games made into movies there is The Angry Birds Movie in 2016. This one floors me...lol.

Not sure if this counts, but Sly Cooper, based off the game by the same name.
I just found this out by accident when searching for which one of the games had the 3D glasses thing.

let's see... things i know for sure: knockoffs of video games, knockoffs of movies, knockoffs of video game consoles, knockoffs of video game controllers (almost forgot that one). things i know to be likely: knockoffs of anime series and knockoffs of countless other products.

how is it racist to point out something everyone knows to be true about a country? also, no engrish please.

Anybody can say that, y'know? For example: America produces knockoffs of video games, movies, consoles, controllers... all of them knockoffs of the products China produces.

If your logic is "Oh just saying it makes it true," we now have a contradiction of facts, because I just said the opposite. If you know any specific examples, I would love to hear about them, not to side with or argue with you, but because I'm actually curious to see what the quality of their products is.

It'll be like the Deadpool of video game movies, in that it'll take about ten years to come into fruition.

But seriously, video games to movies don't exactly do the video games justice. Video games are meant to be interactive, and movies aren't interactive.

Unless they have a good storyline, memorable/relatable characters, and/or a creative setting, then they probably wouldn't make for good movies.

They should also make an Undertale movie.
I haven't played the game, but given its popularity (with a certain subset of Internet geeks), it could probably make some money.

Unfortunately that's not directly viable--they would have to make it an indirect reference to the game, and change up so many things to make it work as a movie. Like, instead of one human being genocidal or pacifist, have two humans, and the good one is working with the Monsters to stop the bad one.

There are lots of video game properties I would like to see made into movies. The Warcraft movie they have coming out looks kind of sketchy though...they kind of really went overboard on some of the CGI I think, also I haven't seen any Taurens x.X

I would dearly love a Legend of Zelda movie or Chrono Trigger.

If you haven't played Undertale and have the time I highly recommend picking it up. It's kind of a Super RPG though...in the sense that if you are not like a big fan of RPGs some of the nuance and subtlety as well as some in jokes may fly over your head. But even then it is still a solid game.
