how do i tag characters on here? to have them highlighted in a different colour, i made Nightwind but i dunno how to make the text colour change

alos who else is using the username Nightwind as i had to settle with my FA name Nightwind005? is that a problem or?

To make tag the green color you need to prefix it with "character:" so simply add character:nightwind to an image and the tag gets marked.
This only needs to be done once, it is enough to simply add nightwind for every other post as the server remembers that.

As for the user, joined a year ago, never did anything so it shouldn't be a problem.

To change color/highlights on tags:

Type "char:" before the name of the character.

You can go to listing to see who is using your name, and if you want to change your name go here and click on "Request Username Change"

it's in you account settings, you enter the image ID into a small field.

my image ID is 226098

1. Pick out the avatar/post you wish to use, and copy the number that is in the end of the link in your address bar.
2. Then go to My Account
3. Go to Settings
4. Scroll down until you see, "Avatar Post ID"
5. Paste the number of your avatar/post in there, and scroll and click save.

Done.

ALSO! just to be on the safe side, if i upload a picture and its already uploaded how do i make sure im tagged in it????

No, because for the overwhelming majority of people, it's common sense.

If it's already uploaded, your upload will not process if it has the same md5. If it does, it will just get deleted when someone figures out it's a repost. And do not tag yourself in art that you did not create.

Or if you just mean how to tag, just click edit on the left hand side of the submission page.
