We actually reached that number like a month ago: post #777777. But the post ID takes into account everything, from deleted to active ones

According to the front page we're at 777,729 active posts (not sure how is the count but I guess those are all approved ones)

Edit: Nevermind, the count comes from all non-deleted posts (777,732 at the moment)
