Got an error code while trying to view post 422099. Been advised by other users their getting the same error. Any idea what it might be?

Oh my god damn God, how can you manage to work with this crapload number of tabs. Maybe that's why you're getting the error.

Nah I have the same error too. Happens whenever I try to look something related to myself like my own posts or my profile

I am getting identical errors to this, albeit completely different numbers, regarding either random posts or random search terms. They don't seem to have any relation I can find. It's not consistent. Some things work. But it's frequent enough that it makes the site unusable.

This bug is fascinating to me; it seems so arbitrary but wide spread.

I added the word pokemon to my profile and I get an error from accessing it now. It had the accented e but I'm not going to post that here just in case I break the thread too.

EDIT: Okay, after a few tests I'm pretty sure that nonstandard characters are the cause, or one of the causes of all these errors.

This is a predicament, indeed.

I've encountered this 500 error too when seaching "zootopia", though I've gotten several different codes whenever I refreshed the page, including:

It could be due to the non-standard characters as suggested by Tuvalu, for I did several searches that included non-standard characters and got back the 500 error message. Though I did find these pools worked fine:

pool #3378
pool #3255

Whatever is causing this doesn't seem to affect pools, just posts and searches, for clicking the individual posts in pool #3255 returned the 500 error. I also searched for an artist with chinese character text similar to pool #3378 and got the error message there too.

I had it pop up when I tried to look at the comments of the posts I uploaded.

It's gone now, but it may resurface for all that I know.
