Topic: uploading from inkbunny broken?

The flag reason you're looking for is "I'm the uploader and I uploaded the file by mistake (only possible within 48 hours of uploading)"

I don't know if flagging a "Broken/corrupted file" reduces your upload limit when it gets deleted.

Are we sure this isn't some weird caching issue? 'cause the site won't let you upload it again, so clearly it's getting enough of the file to detect likely duplicates...

We're having some problems with the uploader right now. I'm not exactly sure what's going on with it myself, but I know Dari has been working on the servers. I'll update this when I have more information about it.

Both do.

The only thing the dupe detection uses is the MD5, which is one of the first things calculated (you can calulate this in less than a second even with huge files). I'm assuming the files are having trouble getting saved/accessed somehow, but I don't know for sure.

Site was down for a bit. I guess I can't flag it now that someone else has.

One last thing. I can not upload the file from my hdd because it already exists and I cannot switch the source to a local file to fix it?

You'll have to get the admins to remove the MD5 hash from the "existing" post.

Thanks, I'll wait and see. They probably have a lot of work on their hands.
