Implicating unzipped → zipper

Reason:

unzipped -zipper might have to be cleaned out first. A lot of those posts should have been tagged with open_pants instead of unzipped.

Wouldn't it be possible for a fly to be clearly unzipped and open, yet no zipper is visible as it's obscured by surrounding cloth, for example?

If no zipper is visible, how do we know it's unzipped rather than unbuttoned?

That would only be open pants. Pants can be fastened with buttons, hooks, zippers, hook-and-loop, even string. Possibly other things I can't think of right now, but you can't claim it's unzipped if you don't actually see a zipper.
