Topic: Well Zootopia Was Awesome, What Do You Think?

Posted under Off Topic

O.k before you go any further
Let me say that like Undertale this movie is best seen completly blind.
That said there's no doubt from this point on that this thread is going to be
100% spoiler so you have been warned.

My thoughts (Spoilers)
I though it was a pretty good movie.
Not exactly what I expected when it came to the soical commentary on racism but,
What did I really expect when they where putting such enthesis on words like "Predator" and "Prey." during the movie.

Though if I have one complant it would be not coming on opening night. Omg there must of been at least one person in a suit lol n_n (I would have totally gave them a hug!)

I cried laughing at the ending scene.

*Slowly smiles* ...Nick!

Funny thing is that I saw that on my subs the moment I got how after seeing the movie. Way to run it YourMovieSucks, What really Sucks is that I couldn't go to the movie the time there was a furry convention in the area. ~ ~)

Though the guy does cover's his bases pretty well imo.

To be honest I didn't think the movie would be pandering to the furry demographic as much as I thought it would...besides the nudist scene.

I don't like undertale
and I didn't like zootopia.

My nephews enjoyed it and they called me their favourite aunt for taking them so... +1 to the movie.

My desire to see it steadily declined until sometime yesterday. Now I don't want to see it at all.

When they turn 18 or whatever the legal age in your area is, buy them some Bad Dragon (tm) toys.
You'll be their favorite aunt forever :-/

This movie messed my head up. I LOVED IT! I still have a hard time believing these characters can have such an emotional impact on me. I'm truly envious that Nick has found such a beautiful mate and they've achieved such great happiness, something I've been longing for, for what seems like forever. I cried way more than I expected to. I guess this post was sort of pointless lol. Sorry just wanted to share that.

Ehh... never really peaked my interest. Really, if it isn't Deadpool or One Piece right now I couldn't care less about movies. That said, I don't really care about Undertale either.

Why exactly is Undertale mentioned in this thread? It has nothing to do with the movie whatsoever.

I haven't seen it, but its plot was already spoiled for me by a coloring book that got sent out too early -- I didn't get the book but nerds jumped on it and started talking about it and welp.

While Judy is super cute, overall I doubt the movie means anything to anyone other than furries who really really want it to be for and/or about them.

I brought up Undertale as a way to mention how this thread would be a spoiler, people took that and went running with it.

And it really isn't.
This plot is really about
Racism and to not judge a person no matter what "Animal" they are before you get to know them.

and to be honest I didn't come to the movies expecting it to be something that panders to the furry demographic (Although The ending with the tigers did catch me off guard)
I came there in the hopes of seeing what the turn out would be like. I mean honestly seeing how the community reacted when the word "anthropomorphic" was thrown out, I was seriously expecting people to show up in fur suit and all lol.

(If it was just for the movie I would have just watched it online.)

Work at a movie theatre. Will make it a mission to see it over Spring Break. That said I'm still butthurt that the movie is a big fuck you to any furries who aren't actually furry (because mammals are such hot shit for some reason. Hmph.)

Furrytopia II will have scalies and featheries, maybe as the bad guys.
Or time travel & dinosaurs.

Saw Zoomania yesterday.
It was a nice movie, but it won't become a classic like Robin Hood.

in b4 they make "Furrytopia KidZ!", a prequel that explores the childhoods of nick & judy & every other mammal in the film
