i was just looking around pixiv and came across an artist who did quite good 3d art (humans that is) and it really does look great. no lo quality textures or anything like that but there is 1 flaw that destroys this artists pics entirely... FUCK those have got to be THE creepiest looking eyes i have EVER seen in my life!

how can something so high quality (artist is mikmod. sorry if any of you dislike shota pics but it's a prime example ofthis problem.) be so BAD? look at those eyes and tell me it's not evil. can't can you? ugh, someone burn that picture with napalm or something!

i mean...fuck, and i thought the creepy shit models in 3d pics on exhentai were creepy. you know, those inhuman green or gray zombie skin looking nightmares born from someone who should be banned from making 3d art forever.

would i be correct in assuming this to be an extreme case of "uncanny valley" much like how some of tricksta's older pics sometimes came off as? i mean, if i get rid of the head in these pics it's fine but those damn eyes...wtf is with the EYES?!

Its the lighting.

Yeah, the lighting is bad, eyes don't reflect like that, this is more akin to glass, and there are some minor texture errors around the iris as well.

Also the facial expression is meh, that is the face of someone who is on drugs and can't fully control their muscles.
