This is why I think that those who do not follow the most important sections of the Code of Conduct should be tackled thoroughly. This isn't the first time artists wanted everything on e621 to be deleted because of rude comments. It's a shame to see, honestly.

Well, the request seems to suggest that the art actually belonged to another artist, and was simply edited without permission by Kyoushiro.

"and (albeit pretty rare) rude comments."

This, together with the other reason.

Kyoushiro wanted his/her artwork removed because other people were making edits of his/her work without asking him/her first (and also because some people being rude about his/her art).

Another artist that is clueless about e6 and does not know it will help actively fight those two things . . .

Ah well, another artist I unfollow when they do this, since I found them on e6

The main reason why he has taken down everything is mainly because of the rude & arrogant comments.

I have been posting Kyoushiro's work (with his permission) for the past year but was contacted once from the artist to cease posting on e6 because of the way some people rudely react to his works.

I managed to persuade him to let this one slide as there are also many fans that appreciated his work, he agreed to allow me to continue posting.

After posting his works for a little while longer, I ceased posting for some time waiting for new commissions. But other people started to post for him, so I decided to continue on with other artists' works. I don't know what happened from here on out.

But then the takedown came and took everything along with it. I have asked him again yesterday and he has said that he will request to be placed on the DNP list because he feels uncomfortable with some peoples' form of (inappropriate) criticism.

what the artist may not realize is that he's only hurting his fans, i.e. the people who don't make rude comments

Another entitled user who wants to tell artists how they should feel even though their work is still readily available two clicks away . . .

I've seen users who act like that, but CK is actually not one of them. They're just casually unfollowing them and leaving it at that.
