Headcrabs become useless once they've attatched to something, though. They're deadliest when they haven't attached, and so is the other creature, as they become lethargic once crabbed.

The whole "we're not just about sex so respect us!" just comes off like guilty denial to me. Far better to admit to those elements in the fandom and take the position "yeah, some people are into things that other people are not into. If someone can't accept that, that's their problem."
