Topic: Someone keeps removing Charizard tag from posts.

Whoever keeps removing Charizard tag from posts obviously contaiming Charizard, please stop.

It's really annoying.

I don't care what your reason is, its a Charizard, so the tag stays.

And for anyone else out there, no, its not something that i think is a Charizard, its actually a Charizard, but for whatever reason it only has the mega tags on it.
Its not a different species, as mega forms are not permanent, and mega pokemon still revert to the original form.

That and my personal reason is typing "Mega_Charizard_X" tends to get extremely tedious, especially when my phone auto corrects it.

Thanks.

Actually, you're the one who's in the wrong here.

mega_evolution
For the sake of searchability, Mega Pokémon should not be tagged as their base form. Unless there's one present in the same image.

Though this doesnt mean the mega tags shouldnt be a thing.
Its just that why look up specific charizard forms when i just want to look up charizard in general sometimes?

Its tedious.

It seems more tedious having to search specific forms than just the basic word.
If you dont like meha pokemon you could blacklist it or whatever

Assume for a moment you wanted to find an image containing both a Charizard and a Mega Charizard.

Under your system, wherein the charizard tag is on all images with any Charizard form, how would you do so?

That's one of the biggest reasons they're kept separate.

You could simply just search up Mega_charizard_X/Y and it will only include pics containg X or Y or just Mega_Charizard if you want either X or Y
Or just mega_Charizard -solo if you dont want a single zard

This is how it already works.

mega_charizard -solo would also pull up pictures featuring a Mega Charizard and its trainer, without an actual Charizard in sight.
Keep trying.

I think you misunderstood. What I mean is you want a Mega Charizard AND a regular Charizard in the same image.

Neither of your proposals do that.

Just like Jackalfag said, search for *charizard* to get any forms of Charizard.

The second * actually shouldn't be necessary. Both mega forms imply mega_charizard, so *charizard should be a sufficient search to get all the forms.
