I may be blind and stupid but I can't seem to understand the parameters of why an image has blue, green or golden border, is it the likes? The favorites? Please help me!

Blue means it's pending moderator approval, green and yellow means parent and child posts which means the posts are related to one another ( not in a familial way ) and red means it's flagged for deletion.

I'm sure someone else will explain it much better then me.
