We do for characters who are well enough known as belonging to that company. If you feel one is missing, suggest an implication.

In that case, I guess it's what I thought: Only the copyright owners get copyright tagged.

That might sound obtuse, so I should add: the creator isn't always the copyright owner, especially in the case of contracted commercial work.
