Everyone knows Autocorrect, right? It's on mobiles, it sucks because it may not get what you're typing, and one click of a space makes a new word entirely, sometimes even two if you're a fast typer...

So, what is your favorite, personal autocorrect "error", where the word should be obvious but it autocorrects into another one (fuck & fick AC'd into duck for me, back then. Another was cumming into come on); or the opposite, where your "error" is used often enough that AC added it into the corrections list (Dickgirl and Shota, the two most common tag additions I make).

I hate how every time I try to Type a word that is NSFW, like Vagina, or Cum, or Futa on my phone or even a swear word like Fuck or shit, it corrects it to somthing SFW. And since eSix is the only place I go on my phone as far as websites, it is more trouble than anything.

Sometimes I'm typing on my tablet and it thinks it knows what I want to say and just starts adding words. Though, just today I typed "outright" and it corrected it to "out aeight".

I don't use autocorrect. However, nothing beats reading a long, well-spelt paragraph and seeing a "defiantly" where a "definitely" should be. :3

I do multiple things on phone, most prominently e621 and What'sApp. I only use Dutch in the latter, which is problematic because my phone uses an English autocorrect service. It changes every Dutch word I type into something in English so it takes twice as long to get my message in the app properly.

I never use autocorrect though, it's pretty much a pure nuisance and I make fewer spelling mistakes when I don't depend on it. The red squiggly line is always there for me anyway.

I don't use Autocorrect. I always turn it off.

That said, there's been a few humorous keyboard/PC typos I've either witnessed or demonstrated..."Just a sex" and "Show me the gayser (geyser)". I think a few of my friends have stories to tell as well.

OMG, yes. That is the worst.

Mobile devices annoy me. They are crippled, poorly designed (comparatively) things that everyone seems to use constantly anyway, even in dumb contexts.

"I can't use that site, not set up for mobile"

It feels like dealing with someone who is handicapped, except of their own volition. Someone who cut off their own arms and then began to berate businesses that didn't have automatic doors for the disarmed.

Whew! I apologize. I didn't mean to be so ranty. Point being, I don't use autocorrect, but I have seen some good ones that I remember laughing at quite heavily... and I can't remember any of them! Man that's frustrating.

Same. I feel like mobile phones should be used as more of a Tool on occasion, and only if needed, not the way that people (especially kids my age) use it borderline obsessively.

But anyway.

I do use my phone near constantly, but only because I like to lay in my bed while working on E6's tag/wiki projects, watch YouTube videos / listen to music while playing WoW, and I find it's browser to be faster than my PC's.

I use mine for e621 stuff too, but only for simple things like approving/denying posts, name changes, singular alias/implication suggestions, etc. Anything else is rather cumbersome.
