Topic: Tag Alias: hoof_on_butt -> hand_on_butt

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

For me I would have little problems with equating hand with end of forelimb and foot with end of hindlimb.

The only real problem I see with this is that since hoof can mean rear limb hoof hand might not be applicable.

Equating might also cause other confusions, which may make these kind of distinctions valid. Additionally we have tags like hindpaw which are pretty well used to say the least but on the other hand quite a few paw-terms have been aliased to foot-terms. Also noticed that hoofing was aliased to footjob when we still have hoofjob etc. So... I'm a bit ambivalent. Maybe someone else can bring some more useful insight/policies than my ramblings...

Unrelated: I've always had problem with mlp because of their cartoony style somehow sometimes getting a free pass regarding twys and getting tagged arbitrarily one way or another. Most of them doesn't even have even remotely discernible hooves (yet get tagged with hooves), they just walk around on their stubs (imagine nail removal but on a horse). I know, I know... But still...

But what if it's a hoof on a hind leg? Then that implies foot_on_butt, or at least definitely not hand.

-1 for this. Also, it could be a quadruped using a fore-hoof to poke at a butt or step on it, that would be foot, too.

The question, then, is for the cases where the hoof does have an obvious correspondence to a "hand" or "foot," should hand_on_butt/foot_on_butt be tagged in addition to hoof_on_butt, or should it only be hoof_on_butt?
