Votes for implication and votes for alias?

-1 to alias, since tape is ambiguous (cassette_tape, etc) and might have to be disambiguated someday. Then we'd have to reverse the alias.

Fair enough reason. Approved the implication.

Good point! How about adhesive_tape for the adhesive kind?

Or tape_(adhesive), although I'm a bit behind on when to use a suffix for gentags and when not...

I would vote for adhesive_tape, simply because it easy to search for them as *_tape, also easier to type.

But if we disambiguate tape...?

The disambiguated form is supposed to be a temporary refuge for tags, while we update them to their *_tape form.

Alright, so you guys want a disambiguation page?
I'm asking certain things twice when it involves large (1200+) tags to avoid miscommunication and a big bile of trash a result.

I don't really see any problem with a disambiguation page, it's not like it would be hard to revert back to the old ways anyway ("only” thing lost would be time for those who cleaned it out), so I'd say basically alias:

  • tape_(disambiguation) <- tape

Which will be manually moved to:

That looks good to me. We may also add tape_bondage, pussy_tape and tape_gag too. Is there a term for pussy tape similar to pasties for nipple tape?

I've created two an implication requests for some tape tags:

I'm up for it!

First of all, sorry for necroposting. I simply didn't want this thread to end on a cliffhanger.

After my last post I started sketching on a disambiguation page, but then I started to lose interest and soon forgot about it. So today I decided not to postpone it anymore and actually finish it.

Instead of continue working on the disambiguation page, I copy-pasted the bullet list to the tape wiki page and finished it there, since the tape tag seems to work out just fine without any disambiguation pages.

P.S. If any mods are reading this, please delete tape_(disambiguation); it no longer serves any purpose.

You can request a wiki page's deletion with the Report link. I've done it a few times myself.

Thank you for the tip! ^^

Edit: It seems like someone removed the page. Thank you, whoever did it!
