If they're being used to replace the intersex tags, wouldn't aliasing them to intersex be a better idea? It wouldn't specify the exact sex, but the four specific intersex tags could be blacklisted to seek out any posts lacking those tags.

slight issue with that is that trans characters are sometimes according to twys tagged as male or female and often character owners do not follow twys with this matter

That's when they get red records for breaking the rules. It's better than getting ourselves way too many invalid_tag tags.

These tags can not be tagged based on twys. Thus they are not even "tags", logically. Instead, they are drama.

Doesn't mean they need to be invalidated, just aliased away to intersex.

I suppose if transgender stays invalidated, nothing its subtags should be aliased to other tags, it's absolutely. And you will need to argue about my prior statement to make it un-invalidated. (Please don't do it)

Transgender deals with the mental gender, transsexuals deals with physical sex. It makes sense to invalidate gender, but not sexes.

this thread is a disaster

I wouldn't go quite that far, but there are issues on both sides, some have been mentioned.

Any gender-related tag can be misused under twys since they're often not based entirely on appearances and instead a character's, well, gender identity.

On the other hand *sex* tags could be argued that they have a place since we tag by sex and not gender. However these terms are sometimes used interchangeably with gender, hence they are not really good candidates for tagging either way.

However even our well established intersex tag can suffer from the same problem as these tags, but we still use that, so aliasing some of the *sex* tags to that might be fine.

But to be honest I'm not quote sure what to do with this.
