I'm feel that my main sona is kind of getting stale. His name is Nikolai (obviously), and he's a russian Czechoslovakian_wolfdog. He has green-tipped ears, tail, and a luminescent green penis.

I haven't RPed in a while, but I really want to. However, if I think my character is getting stale, I want to create a new sona. Hence, Roman the Rat.

I want to do a non-conventional species because everyone seems to be getting caught up in the "Canine Craze" as I like to call it. If you're not a wolf, you're a dog of some sort. If you're not a dog, you're either a Fox or a Hyena. *holds up large wall clock* It's time to stop.

His name would be Roman, and contrary to his name, he's actually Eastern American. He grew up in Casper WY, and his family wasn't really that well off. After 20 years and 7 apartments, he finally moved on his own and moved to Reno NV (I live here in real life, so I can make better sense of things).

He's a chubby Bulldog Rat (see https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulldog_rat) with a bit of a belly not on his back (unlike the original species), and likes to wear as simple clothing as possible (usually a t-shirt and a pair of basketball shorts).

Okay, so my two questions are, a) would this be a good character, and b) does anybody know a good artist who'd be willing to make a reference sheet of my character?

Not realy needs more developement or rather details being poor and insecure residence is a fairly common trope so is the name. Also id advise against picking a species just because you wanna avoid a popular species. characters made with reasons like those dont last long.

I know, more details are always better, however, I just wanted to reach out and see what other people would want to see in a character.

Also, none of my characters have lasted long, hence why I'm creating an alt OC. I chose a rat because, like I said before, it's just different from the norm, and plus, I happen to like rats.

I'll definitely take a look at her art tomorrow during her stream. I have a particular taste in art, mainly being NSFW, but nonetheless, I'll give her a try.

Wow, really? I thought e621 would've been the best place for inspiration. I mean, I don't see a lot of RPing here, but still. I guess that part of the fandom has died since the last time I've RPed.

He'd throw a few balls down the lanes at Sunrise Lanes, but he wasn't any good at it. Partially because his younger sister would complain that the place looked like it was built in the 50's.
