Topic: Tag Implication (manual): cross_section -> internal

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The wiki for cross_section is kind of hilarious, but nonetheless, it's really not necessary.

Yes, you can have a cross-section of something other than a body, e.g. post #104752, but in that case you're still looking at its internals, no?

I can't suggest this alias the usual way; I'm getting the "already aliased to something" error even though it's not (crosssection is aliased to it).
----
edit: I was originally suggesting an alias but after discussion I agree it should be an implication, so I've changed the title accordingly.

The wiki entry definitely needs fixing.

Though I was under the impression that the cross_section was for posts such as:

That's how it was originally tagged (see the oldest posts), and that would make it distinct from internal. If it's kept for those, it just needs a half-way decent wiki entry and bit of cleaning.

I could see implying internal, but it's definitely it's own sort of internal.

wiki rewritten, hopefully the meaning now is a bit more clear to the point as to the particular type of internal
