Topic: Tag Implication Sergal-->Alien

Because sergals are inhabitants of planet Vilous and I assumed it's just as logical to have the implication for that species as it is for any other alien species.

Wait, really?

A Sergal is a species of creature native to the planet of Birousu, and live in the land of Vilous. People often make the mistake of calling them hybrids, but they are not - they are a species in their own right and not a combination of other animals. They borrow from existing Earth creatures, however. They have been described as having canine, avian, raptor, and shark traits.

Huh, never knew that.

There is no need for this implication.
And I do not want to see Sergal associated with aliens.

Got a good reason why?

And I do not want to see Sergal associated with aliens.

I think you're going to find it doesn't matter what you want, if the implication makes sense.

Why do we even have an "alien" tag? If it's for critters from other planets by lore, that's not really TWYS. If it's for the "alien" aesthetic, that's...hard to pin down, and likely to lead to tag wars. And it doesn't seem to be used that way.

As I suggested, aliasing it to 'hybrid' will be the better alternative.

They aren't hybrids, though. They have some features that are similar to real-world counterparts, but they're not actually hybrids.

Have you forgotten 'tag what you see'?

They don't even look like hybrids of anything, they just look like some shittily-designed OC.

I guess. Then again, quite a few hybrids aren't obvious at first glance.
