In the year 2017, the United States has fragmented into postapocalyptic wastelands and limited civilized areas. One of the effects of the economic crisis is a decline in manufacturing, and heavy emphasis on recycling aging 20th-century mechanical equipment. Society has become increasingly bureaucratic and hypersexualized, with the declining number of human sexual encounters requiring contracts drawn up by lawyers prior to sexual activity. At the same time, robotic technology has made tremendous developments, and female androids (or "gynoids") are used as substitutes for wives.

In 2017, after a worldwide economic collapse, American society has become a totalitarian police state, censoring all cultural activity. The U.S. government pacifies the populace by broadcasting game shows where convicted criminals fight for their lives, including the gladiator-style The Running Man, hosted by the ruthless Damon Killian, where "runners" attempt to evade "stalkers", armed mercenaries, around a large arena, and near-certain death for a chance to be pardoned by the state.

Human Resistance leader John Connor launches a final offensive against Skynet, an artificial general intelligence system seeking to eliminate the human race, in 2029. Before the Resistance can triumph, Skynet activates a time machine and sends a T-800 (Model 101) Terminator back to May 12, 1984 to kill John's mother Sarah. John's right-hand man, Kyle Reese, volunteers to travel back in time to protect her. As Kyle floats in the machine's magnetic field, he sees John being attacked by another Resistance soldier and has visions from his childhood about Sarah Connor from 2017.

Honestly, this possible future doesn't sound all that bad. Female androids? She can't say "no" because it's not in her programming.

...

I grossed myself out with that last statement.

What if it doesn't have the right equipment? It better have user replaceable parts.

Plug and play compatibility, too. That's important.

Can't tell if that's supposed to be good, bad, or indifferent. Anyways, while I was giving myself a timeout for being a masochistic degenerate, something else occurred to me that might be more timely. I wonder if the men from this strange and distant future also undervalue their "wives" and discourage them from pursuing meaningful and fulfilling lives. That's just wrong on our part. If I was married, I'd never discourage my lady from pursuing her dreams because I know I'm never going to amount to anything.

Hmmm, female androids as wives? That doesn't sound too bad, I mean I imagine they could be customized and stuff, and honestly I would see that coming in the future too because of technology rapidly improving. However, I'm not interested until they manufacture male androids to be used as husbands, then we'll be talkin'.

Were all three of those things from movies, or just the Terminator one? And did they all supposedly happen in 2017? I need to pay more attention to what years they say things happened in.

If she can feel love without explicitly being programmed, then it's fine as long as she understands that IO is off the table. She also needs to be able to refuse things. I can't trust the intelligence of someone who doesn't have the guts to say no, and if you aren't smart, you might as well be a generic human.

In the future, BadDragon(tm) will sell full-sized dragon robots (with full-sized dragon dicks).
You can store them in your garage (or carport).
