Anyone who translates stuff - it doesn't look like it has much usage, but are you ever applying translated to things when you finish them? I usually just remove translation_request if I even remember to, but I just thought about that other tag and wondered if it was intended for text on page or just notes. But I think that's hard_translated, right? Is there much use for the other, and should we be trying to apply it regularly?

I tag the things I translate as translated (except when I forget). I didn't even know hard_translated was a tag; most people just tag that as translated (translated English_text -hard_translated). Hard_translated does seem like a reasonable thing to tag. Maybe we should implicate hard_translated -> translated?

I use the translated tag very often. I only skip it if I judge the the use of the tag as inappropriate; such as when little or none of the text in an image bears significant meaning.

If there are words in foreign language which have been translated, then it should have translated tag.

That is actually really, really good tag to have as there are both burned translations as well as note ones. Implications sounds like it should be in place as someone searching for translations doesn't necessary care if it's burned or not and both things are still translated.

Only problem I have is wiki entry, why does literal/machine translations fall under same tag?

That's what translation_check is for.
