Getting wine drunk tonight... At the liquor store, I noticed a brand - I'm sure they've been around for a while but I'd never noticed it - Hazlitt winery. Anybody ever have their stuff? It's funny how these things catch your eye when you look at too much cartoon porn - their labels all feature half-naked anthro cats. It looks like swill, kind of, but it's the sort of thing I somehow feel like I'd like to try sometime, just on some type of principal. They had white with a white female in a bikini and red with a male in a hot tub, and their site seems to prominently feature fursuit-type mascots. Odd. Wonder if there's anything to it.

They need one of the artists on this site to design the label, it would fly off the shelves, and probably spark a few protests.

I remember my first time being drunk. I ended up with a small trash bin over my head as I ate couch food. I might've said "duritas" as I ate Doritos.

Just an option:
If you wanna try a hard rootbeer float, purchase something called Coldspell (Mint whiskey, yum!) and add just some rootbeer & ice cream. Nothing too over the top but it's unique.

I didn't pay attention, actually. I was looking for better stuff, so I just gave it a passing glance. They only had regular bottles at the store, but that bladder was the best image near the top of the google image search. This was in PA where we get really good wine prices, so ten bucks would actually probably be a little high, and if it's actually crap, it's probably pretty sweet and not fortified, so 15's probably a little high too. I tried getting drunk once. It's not something that interests me in and of itself at all, but I was curious to see why it was so popular. Hated the taste too much to drink more than a sip, even after I diluted it a bunch.

heh, i don't think i've ever drank any alcoholic beverages in my entire life. between that, smoking, and drugs... never had any desire to weaken or slowly kills myself.

come to think of it, i wonder what nasty side effects all that caffeine in the coffee my aunt & uncle drink has. bad enough they smoke so much. pretty much buying their own death with that shit.

I also hate the taste in fact it takes a great deal of effort to not throw up as soon as I drink it for some reason.

Although I must admit I find the drunk part rather fun, the hangover part afterwards is awful. I also like absinthe, I don't know if I'm just drinking the perfect amount but if I get moderately drunk with that I don't feel gross afterwards.

The way I remember it, caffeine itself won't have negative effects unless you overdose (which takes a shockingly small amount if you're dealing with raw caffeine; coffee is pretty safe though). It is possible to become addicted, though, which can cause withdrawal symptoms. But there's no harm in occasional use, though the same can be said of many substances that have ruined lives, I suppose.
