Topic: Das re-allows art

Posted under General

Greeting all, Das has gone back and is no longer classified under the DNP section of the site, so files of his name are allowed.

Still, not all of the submissions under Das have gotten the memo, this being one of them.

Can any mod or admin help fix this?

Looks like the takedown request didn't go through properly, I gave it another poke so it should be back up.

If the artist has a precedent in just nuking their art and such, is there even a reason to repost their work here?

What's to stop the Dingus from going stircrazy and repeating the process some other time? Pffft.

You probably won't need to reupload anything. I think admins can undelete the old stuff.

Reuploading things that have been previously deleted violates the rules

There is a failsafe that prevents duplicated images/files from being on the site.

Also, as was said, when things are deleted here, they are merely rendered untouchable and unviewable, but are still "here", so when an artist goes DNP, the mods simply lock everything with their name on it. They remove themselves from DNP? Mods unlock said content.

makes the "artist spazzed out and went nuclear" much less of a hassle.

So, if an artist who requests DNP disappears for two whole years, are we allowed to re-enable their images?

No, we won't go against their wishes.

Edit: It's specifically stated that the 2 year rule is only for paid content that is otherwise not DNP. If someone is DNP they remain DNP until they decide otherwise.
