Topic: Image and thumbnail problems again

Posted under General

I made a thread about this a few days ago, and unfortunately I have to make another one because the same problem is back. I don't know what is causing this issue, but when I opened up e621 today a large number of the thumbnails were broken and some images were broken when I opened them as well. Refreshing the page doesn't work very reliably. I've already tried clearing my cache and cookies etc. and the problem persists. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Is any one else experiencing this? Maybe an admin could let me know if they are doing some mainteinence on the servers or something because right now I have no idea if it's on my end or not, and it seems to randomly happen out of nowhere when I open up e621. Thanks for the help.

Sunday is a bad day for e621. It tends to hit the physical rate limit of the network port and it can cause images to load too slowly. There are some plans in the works to help alleviate that, but they haven't come to fruition yet.

This is happening to me too. It makes tagging images a real pain when some of them don't load.

So it is the site's side, and not my side. I've been wondering why there are times when, despite some workarounds, the site wouldn't load up images or etc.
