I don't know if it has a name. Don't think we have a tag for it, or if I've ever heard anything. But I love the crap out of it, and I'd like to find more if I could.

Laying face down, legs apart, ass lifted by way of arched lower back - preferably with thighs not raised up off of the surface significantly, and best when arms are tucked in. That's the best example image I could find. Both characters, especially the lower one, have it going on pretty well in this too:

Hard to pin down many examples, because arched_back isn't used a whole lot, ass_up pretty often has it raised way further, legs get bent a lot, etc, etc. Some others I found that're less there but sort of okay too:

There is literally no difference between on_front and this. None whatsoever. I see absolutely nothing setting the posts you list apart from on_front.

If the back is arched enough to actually lift the crotch up and off (as in post #684487), then it's on_front and ass_up (at least that's what I use for that case).

Think more like on_front arched_back spread_legs presenting -ass_up because top_down_bottom_up, which is one of the things aliased to ass_up, is way different. And even without negating that, it's only four off-base results.

Digging around Kamasutra representations, one version of fan looks about right http://sexpositions.club/positions/201.html but it doesn't seem like it's consistent everywhere.
