It's almost impossible to create a medicine that doesn't have a side effect of some sort, and those side effects won't affect everyone who takes that medicine.

Patent it, restrict it's use to first world countries, heavily inflate the price so that only the rich can afford it and keep it off poor people's hands, etc.

The number of rich people who aren't assholes is vanishingly small. Everyone used to fawn over Warren Buffett because he said things they happened to like. Turns out he's a fucking slumlord. Oops. Bill Gates is just such a philanthropist, except his foundation was discovered using third-world peoples as guinea pigs for unproven medicines. Oops.

It kind of takes being an asshole to be rich in the first place.

Also, the rich are actually getting richer on the whole, and the poor are getting poorer. Incomes, when you account for inflation and such, have stagnated for most people - but CEO salaries have skyrocketed.

Rich celebrities will go on TV and whine that we need to let more refugees in from Syria, or Somalia, or whatever, encouraging the general populace to welcome them with open arms into lower and middle class communities while they live in mostly empty multi-bedroom mansions in exclusive gated communities with private security details.

The wealthy rail on how guns are evil and the populace needs to be disarmed while being able to afford bodyguards that pack heat. They piss and moan over any significant taxation levied against primarily higher tax brackets, while they retain professional CPAs that cook their books, find tax loopholes for them and salt away their money in tax havens so they don't even have to pay much in the way of taxes anyway. They commit crimes and then use the best lawyers money can buy to ensure they get slaps on the wrist compared to a poorer person.

Fuck the rich. Kill the rich. Eat the rich.

Oh, and by the way, smallpox almost certainly still exists in bioweapon repositories hither and thither.

in china, you pay your doctor as long as you're healthy
(if this system were introduced in the west, it would lead to a radical redefinition of "healthy" by medical professionals)

wow, not there's a scary thought.would that mean raising or lowering of health standards?

cause, the stuff i've seen (thanks to youtubers like laowhy86) and read about china would indicate quite a bit of lower standards when it comes to a lot of things (especially cleanliness) compared to here in the west.

just an FYI: careful you don't step in someones poo...pretty much anywhere over there (oh, they have public restrooms but who wants to waste time walking before doing their business?). that and you would definitely want to bring your own clean dishes and utensils when going to a restaurant (don't trust the shrink wrapped ones as those can sometimes have leftover food sealed in them or stuck to the objects inside.), just in case....and don't ask what the restaurant washes their things in, the answer might kill your appetite or make you want to vomit in some cases (sorry, man, but i'm gonna have to ask you to carry your infant to the restroom. a kitchen sink is NOT a toilet!).

not trying to be mean or anything but all the stuff i've seen before points to distinctly lower standards when it comes to hygiene and other things.

This is why having high standards is a good thing.

I extremely doubt that the people who are behind this vaccination have the thoughts of curing billions of ill children in impoverished countries and so on, because there's always the motive of selfishness and greed that will continuously rule this planet until every single one of us will more or less rot to the ground. In the end, people are only out for themselves, and that any type of valuable resource that can be exploited *will* be used for the advancement for themselves. It's a repeating cycle that is honestly way too predictable at this point.
