I've waited up to 11 days for my submissions to be approved or deleted, but they're not getting any response. And i'm really itching to post more the day after i hit my posting limit. How does the approval system work?

It is up to the admins/janitors to approve, so no set time; it is up to the viewers' whim to upvote and/or favorite.

Or in other words, nothing for those is set in stone or predictable.

no,though if you upload the finished version you may want to set the as the adult/child post of the matching unfinished pic.

If sketches are of decent quality they'll be approved.

We approve stuff when we get to it. if we approved stuff when someone asked, everyone would be asking and it'd become hell.
