Topic: How much is magic like an appendage?

Posted under General

That's not the beginning of a riddle...

I see stuff like this fairly often these days

Got a chuckle out of magicjob... Would that count as a rusty_trombone? A rusty trom-pone? I'm never entirely sure how to treat magical interactions. Never saw that show, so I don't know if there's some sort of standard for it. Most times, it doesn't matter what's doing thing x, but occasionally there's something like that where it seems like it would disqualify it from a tag that would normally apply. Is there any going strategy out there for what to make of that type of stuff?

id say no to this, magic isnt a appendage, certainly not from a tagging standpoint here unless the visual projection of the magic actually resembles a actual hand or tentacle for example, not some amorphous glowing blob/cloud as seen in your example.

Ask your self this, is the car you drive in or the viacle you ride on/in to get somewhere another appendage of your body?

magic is a tool, a viacle, not a appendage.

If magic is a tool then what do you call fucking someone with a tool?

Don't you mean "vehicle"?

uh... i would say it depends on the method your using. in the case of telekinesis it could be something of a mentally manifested limb. or in other words, an invisible limb.

then again, telekinesis (which is what ponies typically use for levitation) isn't actually a form of magic. least i don't think it is. not 100% sure.
