Pfft. Probably. But if it comes out in the next six months, it's also probably not worth the bits it'd take up.

What I want to see is a Skyrim Prequel mod. Replace all the assets and shaders with MSPaint graphics. Replace the animations, subtitles and voice acting of people being normal with caricatures being silly and/or incompetent. Replace wandering guards with Nordic Asotils who are more than happy to carry you as they patrol, until the first sign of criminal activity when they dump you on your butt to go create justice.

It'd be a multi-year project, and I'm sure nobody would care about it by the time it came out. But I'd want to see it.

I'm just gonna sit here and wait for the pony mods.

Horse recolours are an obvious first, but I don't doubt there'll be playable pony races, probably allowing you to swap between pegasus, unicorn and earth types at the power / magic / thief stones.

Then Ponyville will be recreated somewhere flat, and Canterlot will be put up on a mountain.

It will be hilarious.

i think you have the words "prequel" and "demake" confused as what you described is in no way a "prequel" to anything. all that sounds like is a shit version of skyrim.

So how long until we get an ascii version?
