Reminder how aliasing works: it replaces everything using the one tag with other. What this means is that then you can also search using ^69, even if the tag in use is fffffolder. This also means that those still searching with name ^69 will see artists new name, making it also easier for user to find them in future.

If this is the case, then yes, reverse this and it's fine.
