Aliasing body_pillow → dakimakura

Reason:

dakimakura is the more specific term, also has more posts than just body pillow

I'm hesitant to say +1.

On one hand, dakimakuras are body pillows but body pillows aren't dakimakuras. You can buy normal pillows that are just body length (or really bed length) that have nothing printed on them.

On the other hand, there doesn't seem to be many body pillows that aren't dakimakuras in there (if they exist, they are probably just tagged pillow instead).

-1 from me for the same reason. Dakimakuras are just body pillows with characters printed on them.

Dakimakura should be aliased to body_pillow, or at the very least imply body_pillow.

I can see how dakimakura is a specific enough tag to be separate from body_pillow, but I just don't see the point in having both tags.

Dakimakura are in fact a body pillow.
The cover is not required to qualify for the name in Japan.
That being said, we aren't in Japan, so while I support an alias, it should be the other way around.

The only issue I can see is there are a lot of front/back pictures that are obviously designed to be made into a cover, but aren't actually one yet. However, dakimakura already has this "technically incorrect tagging-wise" issue already and I doubt having separate tags would mitigate this (fairly minor) issue anyways.

I don't think having 330 under one tag and 327 under the other would be worth implicating them tbh. If we were more anime-centric I'd say to keep dakimakura and just use pillow for everything else, but we aren't and body_pillow is a bit more friendly for typing.

We could have a tag like dakimakura_design or dakimakura_template for pictures like these.

Although doing that would require a shitload of tag fixing, seeing as most pictures like that are just tagged as dakimakura.

They aren't a dakimakura without a pillow, they're just a dakimakura cover.

I could go through those at least the first time as long as we can implicate dakimakura_xxxxxx to dakimakura/body_pillow, it shouldn't be too difficult to keep them clean with a monthly check.

• dakimakura_design - The stereotypical design, usually with front/back shots
• dakimakura_pillow - If it's on an actual pillow in the picture - post #167755
• body_pillow - post #584198 and post #167755, but not things like post #611504

The only issue I can see is if people start using dakimakura_pillow instead of dakimakura_design, but with dakimakura aliased to dakimakura_design instead, that problem should hopefully be minimized.

Approved as laid out above.

Summary:

• body_pillow - A type of pillow long enough to span most of the body
• dakimakura_design - A template more/less ready for printing onto a pillow
• dakimakura_pillow - A body pillow with a dakimakura design printed on it

Well now it's impossible to remove dakimakura_design from an image that's not a template but has a character actually holding such a pillow.

Suggestion: implicate dakimakura_pillow -> dakimakura, and keep dakimakura_design as a separate tag.

Also dakimakura_pillow is in the same bunch with ATM machines and PIN numbers.
