Tag type for "Seal" should be switched to species, or a new species tag for the marine mammal should be made ^^

you can do it yourself:
edit a post, and replace seal by species:seal
Valide
F5

Same for:

artist:john_smith
character:kermite
copyright:disney
general:white_tag

;)

In case of doubt about the ambiguity of a name or term, it is best to validate the post without adding these specific tags.
Otherwise you could risk turning a tag artist BY a tag specie or character.

validate, verify that the tag is not used to something else, edit and add the specific tag.

Or if you don't have time for dat, you can do:
art:john_smith
char:kermite
copy:disney
gen:white_tag

Thank you really much for the tip :) I was trying to edit the tag itself and change the tag type vie the tag list, but editing required me some additiona login or validation of some sort and I assumed only admins could edit the tag type :3

Do you happen to know if users can remove or edit implications as well? I started a topic for that reason since I found myself unable to do it myself, and I'm still waiting for some mod or admin to see that :3

Members can only change species that have tag count 10 or less. I don't really know why such a low limit is still set.

Only admins can approve, and delete aliases/implications. Others can only suggest such changes on forum.
