I think we have all seen people who are new to E621 complain about fetishes they don't like. I have to say that it doesn't really annoy me anymore, I know it's just a rookie mistake... Heck, I did it myself for quite some time after joining the site. It was not until a user sent me a PM to stop bitching and start using the blacklist that I actually did so.

What I'm trying to say is, is there no better way to make newbies aware of the blacklist? [as in, a better way than people in the comments telling them to stop bitching].

How about a forced tutorial that pops up whenever someone makes their first comment on the site? The tutorial could show how to blacklist, how to comment without being creepy and so on. In my opinion a mandatory tutorial on blacklisting for all new users would lead to far less bitching and arguments. But eh, maybe I'm just dumb.
