I used to go by InvaderPichu, but now go by Insane Proxy.

I don't think artist name changes get approved. I've suggested one in the past and that got ignored too so idk

Just wait for the alias to go through. These take some time because there is no dedicated admin to work on these. They can also occur silently, without being bumped, it depends on the admin doing the aliases & implications at the time.
