For example, I usually log on and search only "score:>4", and check every image that looks appealing with Image Hover. I open any image that I like into a new tab until I make it to the bottom of the page and have hovered over every image that catches my eye. I then go through each tab and open the artist's page to see if any of their stuff appeals to me, all while opening the extra good images for later. I usually do this until I run into images I've already seen before from the day prior.

What's your "routine" when using this website?

EDIT: I forgot to mention if the artist has extra good art. I go to their Tumblr/FurAffinity/Pixiv to make sure I found everything. You'd be surprised at what stuff isn't uploaded to e621 for whatever reason

I don't really have a routine. I just search whatever I feel like at the time. Other times I come for the forum and not much else and other times I come to upload stuff.

It doesn't apply to this site since it had a functional blacklist, but if I didn't have a blacklist I'd -search and get rid of 3d always.

Due to my blacklist, my routine is "find where I last stopped". I memorize a specific thumbnail, and trace from page one back to where it is, either clicking on interesting ones along the way or going forward; I sometimes start tabs for posts or tags I'd like to check (like adding alternate color to a fan character), but I forget about them so often that I literally had over two hundred tabs open at once... whist on my iPhone. Even now, I have site-specific tabs open that I do not remember why I initiated them.

I just search up basic keywords and start shoveling.

Search gentags:<12 -rating:e -comic -voteddown:me order:random and start tagging. Too many undertagged images.

go onto e6 and check the popular page to cross off which posts to add to the to-do list

check status:deleted user:peekaboo or my profile to see how many posts have been deleted since last I was on

check status:flagged user:peekaboo to see which new posts are flagged and if theres any better source available for future content of the artists work

clear browsing history

1. Login to FA
2. Check new submissions and journals
3. Check for notes to send/reply
4. Open e621 profile
5. Check for flags/deletions
6. Check comments on posts
7a. Close everything and continue with life
7b. Login to upload new submissions
8. Spend an unnecessary amount of time tagging/sourcing/writing descriptions
9. Upload post
10. (Optional) Smash head on keyboard when somebody else has already posted it

I've got a script that turns the artist tags list into a gallery just like "Posts" (taking the most popular image from each artist), so I always check that to see if there are any new artists being posted that I like. And I check to see if any of my favorite artists have anything new posted.

I also like to gradually rifle through the older artists, when I can.
