Topic: unimplicate nord -> humanoid

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

because they are humans. not humanoids. also remove nord -> skyrim implication since they are not exclusive to that game. in fact aliasing it to human is probably best idea since its p much impossible to tell if character is a nord or not without relying on external knowledge.

That is a pair of pretty ridiculous implications you found right there

+20 for removal

Aye, "Nord" is basically an equivilant of "Anglo-Saxon". We just tag the skin color and human, not where they potentially originated from.

+1, also isn't it possible for a non-human character to be a nord? I'm not entirely sure if nor-- SKYRIM BELONGS TO THE NORDS!

In Elder Scrolls, Nord is a race, not an ethnicity or nationality.

They're basically just Germanic / Norse humans.

I think Nord should be implicated to human, not aliased.

keeping nord tag does not benefit anyone in any way besides some people who like lore wank. there is no blacklisting or searching value for that tag since visually there is absolutely nothing different between nords and any other humans.

Actually, nords are a race of "Man." "Man" is The Elder Scrolls' equivalent of "Human." Just as "Humes" are humans in the Final Fantasy Tactics universe, and "Homs" of Xenoblade, they're literally just humans under a different name.
Similarly, TES's "Mer" are just "Elves" by another name.

Not entirely. "Mer" better fits "fey". It includes dwarves.

The Dwemer were "Technological Cavern Elves," so yeah, "Dwarves" are still elves in their universe.
