How come there's a complete lack of furry themed anime hentai, things like hentai version of Bagi, the Monster of Mighty Nature and such? I did come across videos involving nekomimi but that's about it. Oh sure, there's plenty of tentacle rape stuff but, again, none of the furry hentai! Strange really, considering that one of the best furry artists, Dr Comet, comes from Japan. Ok, it doesn't have to be japanese but even so, it's pretty much nonexistent.

Each of furry, anime, and hentai can mean a few different things and become more ambiguous when jumbled together, so I'm not sure what you're asking.

Do you want any furry porn based on anime?
Do you want animated furry porn based on anime?
Do you want fluidly animated 20+ minute episodes or OVAs of anime porn featuring furries?
Do you want any furry porn coming from Japan or in a Japanese or eastern "style"?

I'm assuming franchises like pokemon or digimon are arbitrarily disqualified from consideration for "not being anime enough". If you go down e621's listing of copyright tags, you'll eventually find some anime with decent representation. Japanese video games have more representation, probably because they are more accessible and popular with English-speaking furries, and such content occasionally gets portrayed in an "anime style". pop'n_music, for instance.

You can also dig through e621's Pixiv content, which should contain lots of relevant, if obscure, stuff sprinkled throughout. A search like source:pixiv copytags:>0 -rating:s order:score might help, or perhaps the same search but with copytags:1 to cut down on content of video games and popular western shows and movies. Or copytags:1 with order:random to avoid upvote bias for familiar franchises.

There probably is some straight to video censored hentai with monster girls out there. But there are reasons to believe that the "furry hentai genre" could explode soon in Japan. Look at the success of Monster Musume. Many volumes of the manga made the New York Times Manga Best Sellers list. IIRC there is a Blu-ray edition of the anime with uncensored tits. Mainstream popularity of monster/beast girls will lead to crappy hentai being made on the side. Or an extremely ecchi but not hentai mainstream series.

There is also some overlap with the exploding Isekai/reincarnation genre. Many of those works contain harems full of loose girls, particularly slaves and beast/monster girls.

Now monster girls are somewhat removed from the "pure furry anthros" we have a million of here. But they are a more advanced form of furry than the standard catgirl that had been around for decades. Just look at Miia or Centorea/Cerea from Monster Musume.
