8 of the 14 posts I have made have been deleted. I do agree with their reason for deletion fully, but I am concerned about the quality of what I do on the site in general.

Is 8 of 14 a lot? Should I stick more with tagging to help out? Should I keep posting and try better to analyse before I do? Am I considered to be one of the worse posters on e621? I'm not sure on what the general expectation of a person adding to the site is.

its not really that bad, theres really no need to stress about it. i dont even think that anyone would even have noticed if you hand't made this thread. that deletion rate in fact seems to be fairly common for new posters.

you should be concerned only if your post limit gets closer to zero or if you get negative or neutral records.

Nobody cares about posting reputation, but your ratio can harm your own upload limit.

Okay, thanks. Last two questions: What should I do if I am near or hit 0? and how would I gain a negative record point?

if your posting limit gets too low, just upload some bvats (better versions of existing posts)

if you go near zero, you can fix it by posting things that wont get deleted. each approved post rises your post limit a little (one almost sure way to find posts that wont get deleted is posing higher res versions of approved posts tagged as better version at source since they are already approved and deemed to be good for site. just remember to flag the smaller image for deletion)

and negative records usually come from breaking same rule multiple times.

and i always have that zip file on my MEGA account if anyone is desperate enough for that type of content (it's not all cub and cub/rape stuff).
