Let's go the way of The History Channel, with multiple manly-men reality TV shows and alien conspiracy documentaries instead of content about, well, history.

All 3 of your posts were tagged not_furry. Not_furry isn't allowed unless it's part of a furry comic (or a higher res version of a not_furry post that was already posted on this site from back when the rule was unenforced)

@CrocoGator This is wrong; not furry is allowed so long as it isn't explicitly human and is explicitly nonhuman. For example, a vampire that appears pretty much human (no pointy ears, no wings, etc) is considered too human and deleted.

What you're talking about is human only content, which is allowed if part of a comic/sequence or before the date that post standards changed.

Also, those pictures, on top of being basically human only (though I admit, the Knife-arenos" made me laugh :) ) the images were REALLY small. The one with Flanders was 256x219... for a reference as to how small that is, the 'user icon' images we have are 150x150 at max. Yikes!

So... generally speaking:

  • Remember that we are an image archive with a non-human focus. Humans are allowed, but non humans must be a significant part of the picture's focus.
  • Non humans must be visibly nonhuman: Pointy ears, wings, kitty ears, etc. Yellow eyes, Green skin, or pointy teeth generally don't count. Emphasis on visibly: You gotta see those bits in the picture for it to count.
  • We like large resolution pictures. But don't just upscale the picture, Take the original picture at a big size and try to clean it up as much as you can. Google's your friend! :) I"m sure if you asked for help on how to do this, someone could provide some--but try and google first. a lot of people have already made tutorials about this stuff :)
  • There's nothing wrong with getting work deleted. Honestly. There are very few people who have uploaded any significant amount that have not had pictures deleted. It happens. I've even had some deleted because I got excited about how pretty a picture was and forgot about the non-human thing too.
  • You're not being punished, it is not anything personal. Just do your best to learn from your mistakes. And don't be afraid to ask for help-- most of us are pretty nice people and will happily help out where we can, (as long as you're not asking us to do it all for you, anyway :)

Can't agree with this enough! I've had 240 or so out of 5,500+ posts deleted so far and a good chunk of those are because of low quality/resolution or not being non-human enough, even if I personally thought they were non-human enough. Just shrug it off and don't worry, and go about your day, it's no biggie!

The best way to deal with this imho is realize this isn't a personal attack (unless you have like... a reputation for purposefully posting spam posts and mods monitor you, and that's not rly a personal attack so much as a punishment for breaking the rules)

MRW

In all seriousness, you uploaded human only pictures of questionable artistic quality, and those images were either all compressed or incredibly tiny. Neither of those things meet our requirements, especially not when they're combined.

Clearly you didn't understand why your posts were removed, so instead of whining in the forums you should contact the user who flagged / removed your work and find out why it happened. Although, I find it hard to believe that the reasoning already given wasn't sufficient. One of your posts didn't meet quality standards, which is decided upon by the administrator making the ruling. Not you. The others only featured human beings, which is invalid content given the purpose of this website. It's not a generic art blog. It's a furry file archive. If you don't want to make furry-related art then don't post it in the first place.

E621 isn't a gallery site. If you want to be able to post your own images of whatever quality and theme, try a dedicated gallery site. Deviantart, Furaffinity, Pixiv, Inkbunny... You can even use Tumblr, or if you want publicity and don't care about searchability, Twitter.

FYI, throwing a tantrum at the very people who decide your fate never, ever works out. Seriously, do you really expect them to acquiesce to this kind of behavior?
