Hey ! Toot here.

I'm a e621 user, but I'm also an artist and upload my NSFW works here by myself. I was wondering if it was possible to change the artist tag 'toot6' to just 'toot' ?
I also wonder if it's possible to link my account here to this artist tag... I don't know if that's a good idea though, seeing as I upload other people's works and not just my art on there.
Anybody got answers ?

The second one seems quite unlikely (the only thing that comes remotely close to the idea would be a tag subscription to your own artist tag, but that requires you to be Privileged or higher).

Changing artist tags though, that's simple enough if the desired one isn't already in use, or easy to imagine ever becoming useful as a general tag. And otherwise it's still just a matter of adding a differentiating suffix.

Toot was currently empty, only bringing up some tag suggestions, so I just went ahead and made the change for you!

this is. a whole load of misinformation here.

1. e621 does have system where artist name can be linked to account here. like you can see my account linked to my artist name right here listed as second thing. just send a dmail to an admin about it

2. tag subscriptions dont even work

Oh. So you mean, if you go to the tag wiki for artist:mutisija, some of it points to your account on e621. I think that's what the user was asking for, as well.

I'm not sure where tag subscriptions came up.

the person was asking about linking account to artist tag and the thing i was talking about is called linking account to artist tag, so yes. that is pretty likely what they were asking about.
