This will be relevant when your work is actually posted and tagged. To change the type, you must add a prefix:
artist:artistnamewill modify the artistname tag to function as an artist tag, so for your case it would look like:
artist:codebreakerOnce the prefix modifies that tag, it will stay that type unless someone else modifies it with some other prefix, though this can currently be locked to prevent this from occurring.

You can also go with *_(artist) added to the end to distinguish you from other uses of the word 'codebreaker'. Basically follow what Ratte said, but add _(artist) onto the end when you add the tag to a post:
artist:codebreaker_(artist)

and artist:codebreaker are both the same tag, just the first half changes the color until the next time someone uses a different prefix.
